A warm
"Welcome"
to my website
www.mediationswissenschaftler.com!
This is an introduction to myself and my background as a researcher in the field of mediation.
I'm a lawyer, mediator, lecturer and scientist from Germany.
I have been involved with the topic of mediation since 2012. In total, I was able to complete around 530 hours of training as a mediator, business mediator and mediation supervisor, including a course at the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School.
Since 2015, I have been teaching mediation at various universities in Germany and abroad. In the meantime, I also regularly publish on mediation law, but also on German works constitution law and anti-money laundering law. In 2024, I was able to obtain the Higher Education Teaching Certificate from the Derek Bok Center for Teaching and Learning at Harvard University.
My dream is to work at least once in my life as a lecturer for mediation at universities in as many countries in the world as possible.
My lectures
Christian-Albrechts-University Kiel
Since 2018, I am working at “my” university in Kiel as a “Lecturer in Business Mediation & Negotiation”. It's great to be back here!
Helmut-Schmidt-University of the Federal Armed Forces Hamburg
Since 2016, I am allowed to take on a special challenge at the HSU/UniBw HH as a “Lecturer for Mediation” and teach soldiers about the topic of “Mediation” in a lecture lasting 48 hours - and now every trimester!
Philipps-University Marburg
Since 2015, I am active here as a “Lecturer for Mediation” and am allowed to offer my key qualification lecture “Mediation” at least once (sometimes even two or three times) every semester. My first university teaching assignment - always something special! :-)
Lectures in foreign countries
Since 2015, I have also been trying to “think outside the box” and accept teaching assignments at international universities. I have already been able to teach mediation at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Switzerland, at the China-EU School of Law at the China University of Political Science and Law in Beijing/ China and at the St. Petersburg State University in Russia.
